Research as Inquiry

Information is everywhere these days. From television, the Internet, to your phone, you can access information wherever you want. It is imperative that you learn how to evaluate sources so you know if you are using those of most benefit to you while limiting bias, ensuring accuracy, validity, and purpose.

Evaluating sources is an important skill. It's been called an art as well as work—much of which is detective work. And in order to conduct this work properly, you need tools in order to do so quickly, efficiently, and properly. Perhaps the most common tool to do this is by using the CRAAP test.
