The Bodleian Libraries is the library service supporting the University of Oxford. You should have received your login credentials to access their content. Take full advantage of everything they offer as they are the largest academic library in the UK and one of the largest in all of Europe!
We are here to help you and support you with your research needs. Please reach out if you need help with library resources. If you find that the Bodleian does not have a resource you need, you can check our library to see if we have it. We can also utilize interlibrary loan and request materials from other libraries.
Your reading list will give you the details of books, chapters, journal articles and other material that your tutor would like you to read. Reading lists are provided by your college tutor or course convenor. They may be provided electronically via Canvas, Weblearn or ORLO. ORLO is the reading list system for the University of Oxford.
Click here to search reading lists on ORLO. Just start typing in the search box and items will auto populate.
Utilize the expert help of Bodleian Libraries' subject librarians! For example, if you don't see the reading list you need, your subject librarian can help!

When the LRC does not have an item you’re looking for you may be able to acquire it through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). This service allows the library to borrow a book from another library. This service is available to Georgetown College faculty, staff, and students. All interlibrary loan requests are handled through Tipasa, our interlibrary loan system. For ILL policies click here.
If you have problems or questions relating to InterLibrary Loan, please contact Jacqueline Young at 502-863-8404 or at [email protected].
While logged in to your GC Tipasa account you can make requests, track requests, and download articles you have requested.
First time users will be asked to fill out a brief registration form before making requests.
Tipasa is the system that manages your ILL requests. Using Tipasa you can track the status of your requests, check due dates, renew checked out materials, and view your ILL borrowing history.
The first time you use Tipasa you will be prompted to fill out a one-time registration form, and then you can start making requests!
