Canvas Learning Management System

Georgetown College currently uses Canvas Learning Management System which can create an online class presence for every credit or non-credit course, regardless of whether the class is conducted on the physical campus or online. Activities and instruction conducted in physical classrooms can be replicated in the online environment.  These include real-time lectures, live class discussions, one-on-one live communication, real-time office hours and much more.  All Georgetown instructors have access to Canvas and can telecommute should the need arise.  To best enable faculty to get prepared, we advise you to use this guide in order to create an online presence for each of your classes.

This guide can help you to familiarize yourself with Canvas and it's capabilities.
