The library catalog is a keyword-searchable database that provides location and call number information for all books, periodicals, DVDs, CDs, archives, etc. available in the Georgetown College Library.
With EBSCO’s extensive collection of eBook titles on EBSCOhost, users can search within a wide range of relevant eBooks using the powerful EBSCOhost search experience. With thousands of titles available across all major subject areas, users can access the full text of eBooks from their computer, or can download titles to popular portable devices.
When the Library does not have an item you're looking for you may be able to acquire it through Inter-library Loan. This service allows the library to borrow a book or get articles from another library and let any member of the Georgetown Academic Community use it.
University of Kentucky libraries are available for use by Georgetown College students. Take your G-card to the main UK library (William T. Young Library) circulation desk and you will be added into the UK Library system so that you may check out books, should you need additional resources. If you prefer, simply make an ILL request with the GC library and we will take care of getting the books or articles that you need.
The University of Louisville libraries may be an option for you if are going home for the weekend and live in the Louisville area. Your G-Card will not work at the UL libraries as it does at the UK libraries, but you are still welcome to peruse the book and journal collections and make copies, if you like.
