For brief visits to the John Grant Crabbe Main Library, metered spaces are available on University Drive, directly outside the University Drive Library Entrance or visitor permits may be obtained from Parking and Transportation Services in Mattox Hall.
Accessing Other Libraries
As a member of a FoKAL institution, Georgetown College students and faculty have the privilege to borrow items from other FoKAL institutions. For more information on this policy, please click here. For a complete list of FoKAL libraries, please click here.
University of Kentucky libraries are available for use by Georgetown College students. Take your G-card to the main UK library (William T. Young Library) circulation desk and you will be added into the UK Library system so that you may check out books, should you need additional resources. If you prefer, simply make an ILL request with the GC library and we will take care of getting the books or articles that you need.
The University of Louisville libraries may be an option for you if are going home for the weekend and live in the Louisville area. Your G-Card will not work at the UL libraries as it does at the UK libraries, but you are still welcome to peruse the book and journal collections and make copies, if you like.
EKU libraries are available for use by Georgetown College students. Take your G-card to the main library (John Grant Crabbe) circulation desk to inquire about checking out items--be sure to speak with a full-time library staff member. If you prefer, simply make an ILL request with the GC library and we will take care of getting the books or articles that you need.
