Types of Media in the LRC

Documentary Films

Our large collection of documentary films supports and supplement studies across the College curriculum. We regularly acquire critically-acclaimed and best-selling documentaries. These are shelved according to LC call numbers that correspond to the item's subject.

Popular Films

The Library at Georgetown College provides an environment of information resources with personalized service to engage our community of learners in intellectual, spiritual, and social growth. Georgetown is a residential college that encourages students to build community seven days a week. Providing appropriate materials for leisure and relaxation is one small aspect of the Library’s mission. These are shelved according to their titles, the call number containing the first four letters.

Audio Books

Audiobooks in CD format are purchased regularly, and include popular fiction and non-fiction titles.  View new titles in the Lobby’s New Media Display, and older titles in the second floor Media Stacks.

Music CDs

The library maintains a classical collection in the second floor media stacks.
